THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF LAMMAS ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2017

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of Lammas Road, Watford from its junction with A4178 Wiggenhall Road north eastwards to its junction with Elfrida Road (“the Road”), a distance of approximately 81 metres. An alternative clockwise route will be via A4178 (Wiggenhall Road/Farraline Road/ Fearnley Street/The Hornets/Merton Road/Cassio Road), A412 (Rickmansworth Road/St Albans Road), A411 (Beechen Grove/Lower High Street), Watford Field Road and Lammas Road An alternative anti-clockwise route will be via Lammas Road, Watford Field Road, Lower High Street, A411 (Exchange Road/Beechen Grove), A412 (St Albans Road/ Rickmansworth Road) and A4178 (Cassio Road/Merton Road/Wiggenhall Road). The Order is needed because railway bridge repair and maintenance works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 24 August 2017 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. A copy of the Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays). THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BUSHEY MILL LANE, WATFORD) ORDER 2017 NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of Bushey Mill Lane, Watford from a point 27 metres north west of its junction with Southfield Avenue north westwards for a distance of approximately 45 metres (“the Road”). An alternative route will be via Bushey Mill Lane, Radlett Road, Balmoral Road, A412 St Albans Road and Bushey Mill Lane. The Order is needed because railway track inspection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 4 September 2017 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
