Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the B4218 Walwyn Road, Colwall, Worcestershire Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles from the junction with A449 Barton Farm to Tan House Farm on the B4218. OS Grid Ref: from 374257/240675 – 374794/241232. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A449 Chances Pitch onto B4232, onto B4218 and vice versa. The said closure is required due to resurfacing works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 19th August 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
