Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the C1127 Bodenham Road, Hereford, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: C1127 Bodenham Road between the junction of the U80215 Chartwell Road and the junction with the U80219 Arden Court OS Grid Ref: 352143 / 240152. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A438 Ledbury Road onto the C1320 Folly Lane onto the A465 Aylestone Hill onto the C1127 Southbank Road and vice versa. The said closure is required due to tree felling and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 14th September 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
