(CHIPPING NORTON AREA) (SPEEDS LIMITS) ORDER 2017
Notice is hereby given that on 11 August 2017 Oxfordshire County Council made the above order under Section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the order which comes into force on 18 August 2017, as a result of the residential development is to extend the current 30mph speed limit on the A361 Burford Road to a point 230 metres south of its junction with the B4026 Charlbury Road replacing the same length of the existing 40mph limit which continues for a further 290 metres.
The Oxfordshire County Council (Chipping Norton Area) (Speed Limits) Order 2015 has been revoked/replaced. A copy of the proposed and revoked orders and detailed documents may be inspected at County Hall, New Road, Oxford OX1 1ND, and at Chipping Norton Library, Goddards Lane, OX7 5NP, 9.30am - 5.30pm Monday 9.30am - 5.30pm Tuesday & Wednesday, 9.30am - 7pm Friday, Saturday 9.30am - 4pm.
