Alternative route for pedestrians is along Bridleways WT-524 and WT-525, and Footpath WT-531, Whittington and Footpaths SE-520, SE-516, SE-525 and SE-533, Spetchley and Footpath WT-516, Whittington. There is no alternative route for horse riders and cyclists.
The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 monthsor until theworks which itis proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months commencing on 22 August 2017.

On the 10 August 2017 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester:-
Diglis Dock Road (North and North West Side) from a point 87.7 metres south west of its junction with Diglis Road for a distance of 4.5 metres to its northern junction with Basin Road; from its northern junction with Basin Road for a distance of 7.1 metres in a south westerly direction; from its junction with Crossley Road for a distance of 9.5 metres in a north easterly direction; from its junction with Crossley Road for a distance of 96.8 metres to its southern junction with Basin Road; from its southern junction with Basin Roadfor adistanceof13.9 metres in a southerly direction; from a point 43.5 metres south of its southern junction with Basin Road for adistance of159.8 metres to its southern junction with Navigation Road. (South and South EastSide)from a point 19.0 metres south west ofi ts junction with Diglis Road for a distance of 420.8 metres in a south westerly direction; from a point 496.5 metres south west of its junction with Diglis Road for a distance of 78.6 metres to its southern junction with Navigation Road. Basin Road (East, North West, and South Side) from its northern junction with Diglis Dock Road for a distance of 52.1 metres in a northerly direction; from apoint 108.5 metres from its northern junction with Diglis Dock Road for a distance of 10.1 metres in a north westerly direction; from a point 118.6 metres from its northern junction with Diglis Dock Road for a distance of 521.1 metres in a north westerly, south westerly, and easterly direction, to its southern junction with Diglis Dock Road. (West, South West, and North Side) from its northern junction with Diglis Dock Road for a distance of 245.0 metres in a north westerly and south westerly direction to its junction with Crossley Road; from its junction with Crossley Road for a distance of 279.8 metres in a south westerly and easterly direction to its southern junction with Diglis Dock Road. Crossley Road (North East Side) from its junction with Diglis Dock Road for a distance of149.2 metres to its junction with Basin Road. (North West Side) from its junction with Diglis Dock Road for adistanceof140.0metres toits junction with Basin Road. Temporarily restrict Waiting, Monday - Friday 8.30 am - 6.00 pm; Diglis Dock Road (North West Side) from a point 22.4 metres south west of its junction with Diglis Road for a distanceof65.3 metres in asouth westerlydirection.

Temporarily Limit Waiting 2 hours, no return within 4hoursMonday-Saturday 8.00am6.30pm: Diglis Dock Road (North and North West Side) from a point 7.1 metres from its northern junction with Basin Road for a distance of44.6 metres in a south westerly direction; from a point 13.9 metres from its southern junction with Basin Road for a distance of 29.6 metres in a south westerly direction. (South and South East Side) from a point 439.8 metres south westofits junction with Diglis Road for adistanceof56.7metresin asouth westerlydirection. Basin Road (North East Side) from a point 52.1 metres from its northern junction with Diglis Dock Road for a distance of56.4 metres in a north westerly direction; from a point 118.6 metres from its northern junction with Diglis Dock Road for a distance of 6.0 metres in a north westerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
The Order is being made to reduce obstruction from parked vehicles whilst construction works are in progress.
The Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily impose one-way traffic on the following lengths of
road:-
Basin Road from a point 68.4 metres from its northern junction with Diglis Dock Road for a distance of 167.0 metres in a north westerly and south westerly direction. Traffic may only proceed in a north westerly and south westerly direction; from its junction with Crossley Road for a distance of 177.8 metres in a south westerly direction. Traffic may only proceed in a south westerly direction.
The Order is being made to safely facilitate construction traffic whilst road repair works are in progress.
Maximum duration: 18 months. Anticipated Duration: 15 months: Commencing: 18 August 2017. (U54151 Happy Land West Worcester)(Temporary Closure)

Order made: to close that part of  U54151 Happy Land West, Worcester from its junction with A44 Bromyard Road to its junction with U54150 Happy Land North in order to facilitate new water connection works.
Exemptions:to permit accessto any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U54150 Happy Land North, U54149 Knight
Street, A44 Bromyard Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days
Commencing: 22 August 2017.
(Footpath NC-511,North Claines)(TemporaryClosureOrder)

Order made: to close the entire length of Footpath NC-511, North Clainesinorder tofacilitateconstruction ofearth bundand landscaping.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.
Alternativeroute: is via U50319 Bevere Lane and U41080 Bevere Lane and vice versa.
The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which itis proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However,it is anticipated that the Order will only be operativef or 6 months commencing on 28 August 2017.
(Tour of Britain, Worcestershire)
(Temporary Traffic Restrictions)(Special Event) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that Worcestershire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act1984 (as amended) to facilitate the holdingofthe Tour of Britain cycle race through Worcestershire on 10 September 2017.
In brief the effect of the order would be as follows:-10 September 2017 there will be rolling road closures as the Tour of Britain cycle race passes from its start point in Worcester City centre through Wychavon District Area and Malvern Hills District Area.
There are exemptions to restrictions for emergency services, authorised Event officials, safety officials and pedestrian access to premises.
Approximate times of closures in specific areas are set out on the schedule attached to this notice, but are subject to change at any time.
The Order will be in operation on 10 September 2017.
