ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL WHARNCLIFFE ROAD SHIPLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 730) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable inspection works to be executed on or near Wharncliffe Road, Shipley has made the above named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Wharncliffe Road for approximately 20 metres either side of the railway bridge. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order will be available via Wharncliffe Road (unaffected section), Valley Road (A6037), Shipley Fields Road, Bradford Road (A650) and vice versa. The Order comes into operation at 23:30 hours on 19th August 2017 until 03:30 hours on 20th August 2017 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
