ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL CALDER WAY SILSDEN TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 735) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable water works proposed to be executed on or near Calder Way, Silsden intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Calder Way from its junction with Aire Court to its junction with Derwent Court. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Calder Way (unaffected section), Dobsons Wharf, Ings Way and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect between the hours of 09:30 to 15:30 on 29th August 2017 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
