THE BOROUGH OF BLACKBURN WITH DARWEN VARIOUS TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDERS
NOTICE is hereby given that the Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, made the Orders below under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works for the replacement of manhole frames and covers.
- Bennington street, Blackburn (Temporary Closure) Order 2017

- High Street, Chapeltown (Temporary Closure) Order 2017

- Oakenhurst Road, Blackburn (No.2)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017 The effects of the Orders are to close the roads mentioned in column 1 to all vehicular traffic, for the extents mentioned in column 2 of the Schedule. The Orders will come into force on the dates mentioned in column 4 of the Schedule and shall continue in force for a period of eighteen months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by the dates mentioned in column 3 of the Schedule.

The diversion routes for affected traffic are mentioned in column 4 of the Schedule.
These are full closures - there will not be access for pedestrians or emergency vehicles.

In this Notice, the following abbreviations are used; St=Street, Rd=Road, Ln=Lane; Wrly=westerly, SErly=south-easterly etc; jct=junction; w=with; m=metres; BB=Blackburn; Mon=Monday, Tues=Tuesday etc; Aug=August, Sept=September etc; vc.va=vice versa. DATED this 12th day of August 2017
