Proposed Development at: Land at Lotmead Farm, Swindon, Wiltshire, SN4 0SN Appeal References: APP/U3935/W/16/3154437

Ainscough Strategic Land Ltd (the Appellant) have applied to the Secretary of State via the appeal process for:
Outline Planning Application (with means of access off Wanborough Road not reserved) for the demolition and/ or conversion of the existing buildings on site, and redevelopment to provide up to 2,600 dwellings, up to 1,765 sqm of community/retail uses (Use Class D1/D2/A1/A3/A4), up to 3,000 sqm of business/employment use (Use Class B1), primary school(s), open space, strategic landscaping and other green infrastructure (including SUDs and areas for nature conservation), other associated road and drainage infrastructure, indicative primary access road corridors to the A420 and improvements and widening of existing route off Wanborough Road to provide pedestrian, cycle and bus access.
In conjunction with "Phase 1" of the aforementioned development comprising:
Outline Planning Application (with means of access off Wanborough Road not reserved) for up to 200 dwellings (Use Class C3) with open space, landscaping and associated road and drainage infrastructure to from the southern part of Lotmead Village. The original applications were submitted to Swindon Borough Council in May 2015. The applications were refused and subsequent appeals were lodged with the Secretary of State with an Inquiry scheduled to be held on 7th November 2017. Other information was submitted during the course of the appeal on 30th June 2017 including amendments to the proposed Masterplans and Parameter Plans and an Addendum to the Environmental Statement. For the avoidance of doubt, this other information was available for public inspection and was publicised in the Swindon Advertiser on 1st July 2017. This notice provides further opportunity to make representations on the same information submitted on 30th June 2017, including the following plans which replace figures of the ES Addendum:
