ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 RIVER ROAD. WARRINGTON (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on River Road from the side of 94 River Road to the rear of 188 River Road.
The Order will be effective on Tuesday 29th August 2017 for a period of 2 weeks as and when signed on site. The alternative route is River Road via Wilderspool Causeway and vice versa.
The closure is required to allow Cadent Gas to carry out mains replacement works. Ref: HIGH/1781
DAM LANE, CROFT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Dam Lane from its junction with Smithy Brow to its junction with Smithy Lane. The Order will be effective on Monday 14th August 2017 for 2 days between 9:30am -3:30pm when signed on site. The alternative route is Dam Lane via Smithy Brow, Smithy Lane and vice versa. The closure is required to allow British Telecom safe access to work on their apparatus. Ref: HIGH/1780
MILNER STREET, WARRINGTON (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Milner Street (Northbound traffic) from its junction with Priestley Street for a distance of 65 metres in a southerly direction. The Order will be effective on Saturday 12th August 2017 for 2 days as and when signed on site. The alternative route is Milner Street via Liverpool Road and Crosfield Street. The closure is required to allow United Utilities to carry out water connection works. Ref: HIGH/1779
VARIOUS ROADS IN CROFT. WARRINGTON (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING AND CLEARWAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017
The effect of which is:-
Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Clearway Arkenshaw Road - Entire length Maythorne Avenue - Entire length
Browmere Drive - From junction with Maythome Avenue for 50m west (end of cul-de-sac) New Lane - Junction with Smithy Lane to junction with Pasture Drive The Order will be effective from Monday 21 st August 2017 for 5 weeks however the works will be undertaken in phases as detailed below between the hours of 8:30am - 5:30pm when signed on site.
Phase 1:21st August - 8th September 2017 Phase 2:11th September -15th September 2017 The alternative routes will be:
Arkenshaw Road/Maythome Avenue/Browmere Drive via Oak Street, Smithy Lane, New Lane and vice versa
New Lane via Smithy Lane, Lord Street, Mustard Lane, Lady Lane and vice versa
The restrictions and closures are required for the realignment of culverted watercourse with associated footway and carriageway surfacing.

WARRINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE BOROUGH OF WARRINGTON (BRIDGE STREET) (BUS LANE INCLUDING PEDAL CYCLES. HACKNEY CARRIAGES AND LICENSED HIRE VEHICLES) ORDER 2017
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2,4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers. The effect of the Order will be as follows: -
1. The Borough of Warrington (A49 Diversion Phase 1) (Traffic Management) No 2 Order 1987, is hereby further varied or amended as detailed in Schedule 1 below.

2. The Borough of Warrington (Bridge Street and Bridge Foot) (Traffic Management) Order 2002, is hereby further varied or amended as detailed in Schedule 2 below.
3. To introduce a Bus Lane including pedal cycles, hackney carriages and licensed hire vehicles on the road detailed in Schedule 3.
Details of the proposals are in the draft Order which, together with a plan showing the restricted area and a Statement of the Council's Reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be examined at the Legal Services Section, Quattro Building, New Town House, Buttermarket Street, Warrington during the usual office hours Monday to Friday. All representations both in support or objecting to the proposals must be in writing either by post to Jo Nugent of the Legal Services Section or delivered by hand to the address above by 31 st August 2017 and all objections must specify the grounds on which they are made. Please note that all representations received may be considered in public by the Council and that the substance of any representation together with the name and address of the person making it could become available for public inspection.
SCHEDULE 1
The Borough of Warrington (A49 Diversion Phase 1) (Traffic Management) No 2 Order 1987, is hereby further varied or amended as follows:-By the deletion of Article 5:
1)
"Save as provided in Article 6 no person shall cause any vehicle proceeding in the length of road specified in column 1 of schedule 2 to enter the length of road specified in column 2 of the said schedule" By the deletion of Article 6:
"Noting in Article 5 shall prevent the entry into the length of road specified in Column 2 of Schedule 2 from the road specified in Column 1 of Schedule 2 of any public service vehicle being used in the provision of a local service or a service other than a local service, school or works bus"
SCHEDULE 2
The Borough of Warrington (Bridge Street and Bridge Foot) (Traffic Management) Order 2002, is hereby further varied or amended as follows:-
By the deletion of Article 2(2) in so far as it relates to the variation of The Borough of Warrington (A49 Diversion Phase 1 {(Traffic Management) No 2 Order 1987 by the deletion in that Order of Article 6 "Nothing in Article 5 shall prevent the entry into the length of road specified in Column 2 of Schedule 2 from the road specified in Column 1 of Schedule 2 of any public service vehicle being used in the provision of a local service or a service other than a local service, school or works bus and the substitution therefor of 6. Nothing in Article 5 shall prevent the entry into the length of road specified in Column 2 of Schedule 2 from the road specified in Column 1 of Schedule 2 of any bus being used in the provision of a local service or a service other than a local service, pedal cycle, taxi or licensed hire vehicle."

Both sides of that length of Bridge Street which extends from its junction with Bridgefoot to a point 24 meres north of Bridgefoot_
