Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the C1053 from A456 to Temple Farm, Little Hereford, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: C1053 from A456 to Temple Farm outside Corner House OS Grid Ref: 354715 / 268349. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Bedlam Road onto the C1054 onto the A456 onto the C1053 and vice versa. The said closure is required due to the repair to an existing water service and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 21st August 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
