The Borough Council of Bolton has made an Order which will be operative on 21st August 2017, the effect of which will be to prohibit all vehicular traffic from entering, stopping, standing, waiting, loading, unloading or otherwise remaining at rest in Back Tonge Moor Road West, from Sheriff Street to Hamer Street. Alternative route will be via Hamer Street, Eldon Street and Sheriff Street. The Order is necessary due to water mains repair works which will last for approximately 2 days and will cease to have effect 18 months from its operative date or on completion of the works whichever first occurs.
