ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984-TO - 203/17 East Lothian Council (Whin Park Area, Cockenzie; Lochbridge Area, North Berwick; & Muirpark Area, Tranent) (20mph Speed Limit) Order 2017
East Lothian Council gives notice that it intends to make an Order underSections 82(2), 83 (2) and 84 (1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 to make permanent 20mph speed restrictions in various roads within Cockenzie, North Berwick and Tranent.

A copy of the proposed Order, Schedule, plans showing the extent of the restrictions and the statement of reasons for making the Order can beviewed at Main Reception, John MuirHouse, Haddington. These documents are available for inspection for the period from Monday 14th August to Friday 22nd September 2017 during normal office hours.
Any person may before expiry of this period objectto the making of the Order. Any objection must be in writing and must specify the grounds thereof and should be addressed to: Service manager, Legal and Procurement, John Muir House, Haddington, EH41 3HA Or email legal@eastlothian.gov.uk
