Fowler Road, Colchester BOTH SIDES: From its junction with Hooper Avenue westwards for a distance of approximately 8 metres. Hooper Avenue, Colchester WEST SIDE:
i. From its junction with Berechurch Hall Road northwards for a distance of approximately 15 metres.
ii. From a point approximately 6 metres south of its junction with Fowler Road northwards for a distance of approximately 17 metres.
iii. From a point approximately 8 metres south of its junction with Foundation Way northwards for a distance of approximately 22 metres. EAST SIDE: From its junction with Berechurch Hall Road northwards to a point approximately 35 metres north of its junction with Rose Allen Avenue Schedule 1 of The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Waiting Restriction) (Consolidation) Order 2008 is hereby varied to include the above No Waiting at Any Time restrictions. (Colchester Borough) (Special Parking and Permitted Parking Area) (Amendment No.10) Order 2017 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To introduce ‘No Waiting at any Time’ restrictions on the following lengths of George Williams Way in the Borough of Colchester: Road Description George Williams Way, Colchester NORTH SIDE:
i. From a point approximately 4 metres west from no. 6’s eastern property boundary, in a westerly direction for approximately 24 metres.
ii. From a point approximately 2.5 metres east from no. 10’s western property boundary, in a south-easterly direction then north-easterly direction for approximately 13.5 metres.
iii. From a point approximately 2.5 metres east from no. 12’s western property boundary, in a south-easterly direction then south-westerly then south-easterly direction
iv. From a point approximately 7.5 metres east from no. 16’s western property boundary, in a south-easterly direction then easterly direction then north-easterly direction then northern direction for approximately 101 metres.
v. From a point approximately 35.5 metres west from the end of the cul-de-sac, in an easterly direction then south-westerly direction for approximately 17.5 metres.
vi. From a point approximately 8 metres west from the end of the cul-de-sac, in a north-easterly direction then south-easterly direction for approximately 12 metres.
SOUTH SIDE:
i. From the end of the cul-de-sac, in a southwesterly direction for approximately 35.5 metres.

To revoke ‘No Waiting at any Time’ restrictions on the following lengths of George Williams Way in the Borough of Colchester: Road Description George Williams Way, Colchester WEST SIDE: From a point approximately 13.5 metres north of its junction with Magdalen Street, in a north-easterly direction for a distance of 9 metres. EAST SIDE: From a point approximately 42 metres north of its junction with Magdalen Street, in a north-easterly direction for a distance of 9 metres.
3. To introduce Resident Permit Holders only restrictions on the following lengths of George Williams Way in the Borough of Colchester (To be contained within Zone M, all properties within George Williams Way will be eligible to apply for a permit): Road Description Permitted hours George Williams Way, Colchester WEST SIDE: From a point approximately 13.5 metres north of its junction with Magdalen Street, in a north-easterly direction for a distance of 9 metres. EAST SIDE: From a point approximately 42 metres north of its junction with Magdalen Street, in a north-easterly direction for a distance of 9 metres. NORTH SIDE:
i. From a point approximately 4.5 metres east from no. 6’s western property boundary, in a south-easterly direction for a distance of 18 metres.
ii. From a point approximately 3.5 metres east from no. 14’s western property boundary, in a south-easterly direction for a distance of 9 metres.
iii. From a point approximately 7.5 metres west from the end of the cul-de-sac, in a southwesterly direction for a distance of 18 metres.
SOUTH SIDE:
i. From a point approximately 12.5 metres east from no. 18’s eastern property boundary, in an easterly direction for a distance of 11.5 metres

Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose. (Footpath 10, East Mersea) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2017 Further to a notice: Under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which commenced on 1st August 2017. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Effect of the order: to temporarily close Footpath 10, East Mersea in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 40 metres south west of Mersea Outdoors site access gate at the junction with Rewsalls Lane, west then turning south east for a total distance of approximately 206 metres. The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th August 2017 for 3 weeks, weather permitting, or where appropriate signs are showing, and is required for the safety of the public and work force while excavations are undertaken to allow installation of new sewage treatment. The alternative route will be as signed on site. The Order came into effect on 6th August 2017 and may continue in force for 6 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. Liz Burr, Head of Network Management, County Hall, Chelmsford (A134 Northern Approach, Borough of Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) Order 2017 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the Borough of Colchester as specified in Schedule 1.
2. A temporary ‘No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force. “The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008” and “The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Permitted Parking & Special Parking Area) Order 2014” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Stopping at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 24th August 2017 exact dates will be specified on http://roadworks.org/. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road. Schedule 1 Location Description Extents Diversion A134 Northern Approach, Colchester Left turn lane only from Jct Northern Approach to Jct Mill Lane – a distance of approx 34m. Right turn lane Only into Mill Road westbound from Northern approach – a distance of approx 708m. Mill Road Closure of turning lanes into Mill Road (in conjunction with road closure of Mill Lane (TM plan 101992 already approved) (Churchill Road, Tiptree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Churchill Road, Tiptree in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Newbridge Road, for a distance of approximately 13m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st August 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2231502 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org . The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce whilst carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.
