Essex County Council (Footpath 12, Althorne) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Footpath 12, Althorne in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Althorne Footpath 7, heading east for a distance of approximately 1300 metres. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th August 2017 for 22 weeks or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while repair works on the flood defences along the north bank of the river Crouch is undertaken. The alternative route will be via Althorne footpath 7 to Hill Farm, Althorne Footpath 8 to B1010, B1010 to Ferry Road, Ferry Road to Burnham on Crouch Footpath 7. The Order will come into effect on 15th August 2017 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Chigborough Road, Heybridge/ Great & Little Totham) (Temporary One Way Restriction) (No.2) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily impose a one way restriction on the following length of Chigborough Road, Heybridge/Great & Little Totham in the District of Maldon: north Chigborough Road, Heybridge/Great & Little Totham From its junction with B1026Goldhanger Road, north to its junction with Scraley Road. The temporary one way restriction is scheduled to commence on 12 August 2017 for 2 days between the hours of 07:00h and 19:00h or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, and is required for safety of the public and to ease traffic congestion while the Essex Historic Military event takes place. The alternative route for southbound traffic will be via Scraley Road, Colchester Road, B1026 Goldhanger Road. The Order will come into effect on 12 August 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Maypole Road, Great Totham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Maypole Road, Great Totham in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 1600m north of its junction with Holloway Road, for a distance of approximately 50m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th September 2017 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2219069 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Maypole Road, Prince Of Wales Road, Maldon Road, Broad Street Green Road, Colchester Road, The Street, Heybridge Street Roundabout, Holloway Road, The Square and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 24th August 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. Dated: 10/08/2017
