Essex County Council (Various Roads, Canvey Island, Borough of Castlepoint) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) (Streetworks No.6) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the Borough of Castlepoint as specified in Schedule 1. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 24th August 2017 exact dates will be specified on http://roadworks.org/. Access will be maintained for emergency services. The Closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce whilst Connection works are undertaken by Virgin. For all enquiries please contact Virgin Media. The Order will come into effect on 24th August 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. Dated 10/08/23017

(Rose Road, Canvey Island) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Rose Road, Canvey Island in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Long Road for a distance of approximately 48m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th August 2017 for 11 days, or where stated on a valid permit (NK100-SEMDPL/34/ROS/CLO - Virgin Media). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while complete duct works are undertaken by Virgin Media. An alternative route is available via Beverley Avenue, Craven Avenue, Long Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 24th August 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. Dated: 10/08/2017
