Notice under Article 13 of the Town & Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) Order 2015, Section 67 & 73 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990, and Regulation 5 & 5A of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Regulations 1990.

Craven District Council has received the following applications that are required to be advertised it under the above legislation for the reasons stated.
Application No: 48/2017/18038. Proposal: Single storey extension to create larger lounge area and protect from excessive solar gain. for Mr Peter Wales. Location: 1 Bowerley Gardens New Street Settle BD24 9LY Reason(s): Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area. Wider.
Application No: 2017/18211/FUL. Proposal: Conversion of existing attached barn and garage to one dwellinghouse including: (i) first floor extension above garage and to rear of Smithy Cottage; and (ii) external alterations to existing buildings for Mr James Pickard. Location: Smithy Cottage 9 Colne Road Glusburn BD20 8QR Reason(s): Affects the setting of a Listed Building.
Application No: 2017/18198/FUL. Proposal: Change of use of land to form mŽnage for Rachael Newth. Location: Land North Of The Grange, Elslack Reason(s): Affects the setting of a Listed Building. The applications are available to view and for comment online at https://publicaccess.cravendc.gov.uk/online-applications or electronically at 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ. Representations can also be sent in writing to Development Management, 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ so as to arrive no later than 31st August 2017. All comments received will be available for public inspection and will be viewable on the internet along with the application details. However, we will endeavour to prevent signatures, telephone numbers and email addresses from appearing on the comments published on the internet. In the event of an appeal against a refusal of planning permission for a householder (HH) application, that is considered on the basis of representations in writing. Any representations made will be sent to the Secretary of State and there will be no further opportunity to comment at the appeal stage.
