TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF HMM4 MORETON-IN-MARSH FOOTPATH 4 COTSWOLD DISTRICT
NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council has made an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14,15 anc 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of Public Footpath HMM4 from its junction with the A44 London Road adjacent to Red House and running in a generally northerly direction for approximately 110 metres and then continuing in a generally west north westerly direction for approximately 382 metres to the southern end of Blenheim Way The closure is necessary to allow for improvement works to the footway

The Order will come into force on the 14th August 2017 and it is anticipated that the public right of way will close on that day until 29th September 2017. However should it be necessary to continue the closure for longer than this period the Order can authorise the closure for up to six months. After this date if the closure is still required it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time.
The alternative route is via A44 London Road - HMM5 Moreton-in-Marsh Footpath 5 - un-named footpath running between Gatehouse Lodge and Blenheim Wayand as signed on site.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 400577 HIGH STREET LONGBOROUGH COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of road number 400577 High Street from outside the Village Hall for a distance of 200 metres The reason for the closure is to undertake works to install new setts. 1. The 2017 Order will be varied by the attachment of plans similar to those used in this consultation and which identify the roads or sides of road to which the prohibitions and restrictions of waiting, loading and parking places affect.

2. ThisVariation shall come into operation on the 11th September 2017 and maybe cited as the Gloucestershire County Council On Street Parking Order 2017 By Amending the Plans to (Prohibitand Restrict theWaiting/Loading/Parking along Various RoadsWithin Cirencester) Order 2017.

The lengths of roads fall within the Town of Cirencester in the Cotswold District in the County of Gloucestershire.
The usual exemptions will apply to Statutory Undertakers and Local Authority vehicles carrying out duties in exercise of their statutory powers, and also in the case of emergency services vehicles and disabled persons vehicles. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Variation or any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the ground that any requirement to that Act or any Statutory Instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Variation may within six weeks of the date on which the Variation is made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
