PUBLIC NOTICE Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (U23431 Drawbridge Road, Majors Green) (Temporary Closure) Order 2017 Proposed Order: to close that part of U23431 Drawbridge Road, Majors Green from its junction with U23426 Haslucks Green Road to its junction with U23433 Peterbrook Road in order to facilitate canal bridge maintenance works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: U23433 Peterbrook Road, U23424 Haslucks Green Road, U23426 Haslucks Green Road and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day Commencing: 6 September 2017.

(Icknield Street, Alvechurch)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017 Order made: to close that part of Icknield Street, Alvechurch from its junction with C2001 Radford Road to its junction with C2042 Clewshaw in order to facilitate installation of fibre optic broadband works Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2036 Lea End Lane, U23204 Watery Lane, C2001 Radford Road and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 9 days Commencing: 10 August 2017.

(C2038 Feckenham Road, Astwood Bank, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2017 Order made: to close that part of C2038 Feckenham Road, Astwood Bank, Redditch from its junction with C2038 Church Road to its junction with A441 Evesham Road in order to facilitate carriageway works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2038 Church Road, A441 Evesham Road and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days Commencing: 10 August 2017.

(Chapel Lane, Wythall)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017 Order made: to close that part of Chapel Lane, Wythall from its junction with C2040 Middle Lane to its junction with C2001 Hill Lane in order to facilitate Severn Trent works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2001 Hill Lane, A435 Alcester Road, C2040 Middle Lane and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days Commencing: 15 August 2017.

(Borough of Redditch) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2009 (Variation) Order 2017 [Prohibition of Waiting on Boxnott Close and Downsell Road, Redditch, Redditch] Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Redditch: Boxnott Close (both sides) from its junction with Downsell Road for a distance of 10 metres in an easterly direction. Downsell Road (east side) from its junction with Boxnott Close for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction and 10 metres in a southerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons vehicles. A copy of the draft Order, relevant plan and Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at Redditch Borough Council, Planning Department, Town Hall, Walter Stranz Square, Redditch, Worcs, B98 8AH, and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours.
