DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES - SCHEDULE 188
The Croydon (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (No.B17) Traffic Order 20-
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council propose to make the above Traffic Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.
2. The general effect of the Order would be to:
(a) Revoke the disabled parking places outside No. 30 Avondale Road, Croydon, No. 67 Broadcoombe, Croydon, No. 16 Burlington Road, Thornton Heath, No. 2 Capri Road, Croydon, No. 5 Everton Road, Croydon, No. 84 Fairlands Avenue, Thornton Heath, No.
23 Godson Road, Croydon, No. 42 Grove Road, Thornton Heath, No. 40 Harcourt Road, Thornton Heath, No. 45 Hartley Road, Croydon, No. 27 Kingswood Avenue, Thornton Heath, No. 15 Salisbury Road, South Norwood, No. 4 Sandringham Road, Thornton Heath, No. 51 Verdayne Avenue Croydon, and No. 90 Winifred Road, Coulsdon.
(b) Designate new parking places at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons' badge may be left without charge or time limit in:
to make the Order, at the Enquiry Counter, 'Access Croydon' Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1 EA.
4. Further information may be obtained by telephoning Highways, Place Department, telephone number 020 8726 7100.
5. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the, Parking Design section, Place Department, 61* Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1 EA or by emailing Parking.Design@croydon.gov.uk quoting the reference: PD/CH/B17 by 30 August 2017.
6. The Order is intended to introduce disabled parking bays in roads where difficulty is being experienced in the parking of disabled persons' vehicles due to heavy demand for parking in those areas. The order would also revoke those disabled parking bays which are no longer required in order to make best use of kerb space.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS BEATRICE AVENUE, NORBURY TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate contractor works to excavate to clear a blockage in the carriageway, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Beatrice Avenue, Norbury.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Beatrice Avenue at its junction with London Road.
3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via local streets as appropriately signed.
4. The Order will come into operation on the 10 August 2017 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 1 day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS ORCHARD AVENUE, CROYDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a new sewer connection and other utility connections and disconnections, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Orchard Avenue.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place: -
(i) Orchard Avenue will be closed outside Nos. 68 to 70 Orchard Avenue;
(ii) Any other traffic management measures required to facilitate the work in progress will be introduced as and when necessary.
3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative route for traffic will be via the section carriageway of Orchard Avenue adjacent to the grassed island site, as appropriately signed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 10 August 2017 and it is anticipated that the initial works will be completed within approximately 10 days. However the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced for further works as necessary.
5. The restrictions specified in paragraph 2 above shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
