Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the U75015 Urishay Common, Michaelchurch Escley, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: U75015 Urishay Common outside Pikes Farm OS Grid Ref: 329185 / 238093. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the U75015 Llanon the Glebes onto the C1209 Crossway Garage to Upper Llanon Farm onto the C1206 from C1205 to Crossway onto the C1205 Green Lane to Rhydunnog Lane and vice versa. The said closure is required due to essential tree cutting to keep power lines clear and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 7th August 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
