Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the B4214 Bromyard Road, Ledbury, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: B4214 Bromyard Road the junction of the A438 and B4214 to the entrance lane to Wilces Cider OS Grid Ref: 370849 / 238636. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Bromyard Road onto the A438 onto the A417 onto the A4103 onto the B4214 and vice versa. The said closure is required due to the safe access to complete maintenance works on both sides of the overbridge and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 14th August 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 5 nights.
