ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order Horton cum Studley, Straight Mile Road and Woodperry Hill - Prohibition of Through Traffic and Waiting Date of Order: 31 July 2017 Coming into force: 7 August 2017 This Order is being introduced because of carriageway maintenance works which are anticipated to take 6 weeks to complete. To be carried out in 2 phases. Phase 1 - Straight Mile Road (eastern end) and Phase 2 - remainder of Straight Mile Road and Woodperry Hill. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding or waiting in the above lengths of road when appropriate traffic signs are displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative routes for traffic is Phase 1 via Horton Hill, Oakley Road, Mill Street, B4027, Horton Road, Woodperry Hill and vice versa. Phase 2 via Straight Mile Road, Horton Hill, Oakley Road, Mill Street, B4027, Horton Road and vice versa.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
