LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (CARRY LANE, COLNE, PENDLE BOROUGH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council have made an Order under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic on the roads set out in this notice.

1. No person shall cause any motor vehicle or cycle to proceed over that length of Carry Lane, Colne from its junction with B6250 Keighley Road for approximately 284 metres in a Southerly direction in the Borough of Pendle.
2. The prohibition will be operative from 0930 hours on Monday 14th August 2017 until 1600 hours on Saturday 9th September 2017 or until completion of the works within this period.
3. An alternative route for vehicular traffic affected by the closure is via:- B6250 Keighley Road – A6068 Keighley Road – B6250 Cotton Tree Lane – B6250 Trawden Road – B6250 Skipton Road – B6250 Church Street – Colne Road – Coal Pit Lane and vice versa. The temporary prohibition is necessary to allow utility works to be carried out.
