THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF BOLTON (PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. HORWICH 187) DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2017
The Borough Council of Bolton has recently completed a Creation Agreement under section 25 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of which is to create Public Footpath No. Horwich 187 situated within the vicinity of the properties known as Higher Wilson Fold Farm and Joli Brook Barn, High Rid Lane, Lostock, Bolton, BL6 4LH from public footpath Horwich 067 at point A at grid reference SD 366151 410389; running in a generally northerly direction to point B at grid reference SD 366151 410400 for a distance of approximately 11 metres; then running in a generally north westerly direction to point C at grid reference SD 366150 410402 for a distance of approximately 3 metres; then running in a generally north westerly direction topointD atgridreferenceSD366132 410416foradistanceofapproximately 22 metres as shown by the bold black dashes between points A-B-C-D on the Plan (Plan No. 2Hor187) over a total distance of approximately 36 metres. Under Section 25 of the Highways Act 1980 there is no right of objection and the Agreement has taken immediate effect. The definitive map and statement shall be modified accordingly.
A copy of the Creation Agreement, Order and Plan have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the One Stop Shop, Town Hall, Bolton during office hours. Copies of the Order and Plan may be purchased. Dated 4th August, 2017 LS/NR
THE BOLTON (WESTHOUGHTON NORTH AREA, BOLTON) (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) (NO.) ORDER 2017 The Council propose to revoke The Bolton (Cherwell Road Area, Westhoughton) (20 mph Speed Limit) (No.51) Order, 2006 and implement a new Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984; its effect will be to impose a speed limit of 20 mph on roads within the Westhoughton North Area. These comprise those appropriate residential roads in the Westhoughton area, north of Market Street, that are not currently subject to a 20 mph speed limit, as specified in the draft Order.
