Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the C1117 from A465 to Hilltop, Stoke Lacy, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: C1117 from A465 to Hilltop from the junction with the C1118 to outside Hill House OS Grid Ref: 361179 / 249723. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A465 onto the A417 onto the C1118 and vice versa. The said closure is required due to the installlation of a new air valve and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 1st August 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
