Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the C1001 from Shropshire Boundary to Weymore Lane, Bucknell Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles from the junction with the C1001 from A4113 to River Teme to the junction with U92002 Weymore Lane OS Grid Ref: 337233 / 273013. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via onto the C1001 from A4113 to River Teme, onto the A4113 onto the C1001 River Teme to Weymore Lane and vice versa. The said closure is required due to essential repairs to the eroded river bank and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 14th August 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 5 weeks.
