NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990, SECTION 257 AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF SCHEDULE 14 Footpath No 168/1 (Part) Public Path Diversion Order 2017

The above Order was made on the 12th July 2017. The effect of the Order will be the STOPPING UP of the entire width of that length of Footpath No. 168/1 running from Kingham Road OS Grid Ref SP 2812, 2423 (Point E) in a southerly direction for approximately 255m to OS Grid Ref SP 2809, 2397 (Point D) as shown on the Order Plan by a bold continuous line between Points E-D AND CREATE the alternative footpath with a width of 2m running from OS Grid Ref SP 2809, 2424 (Point A) in a south-westerly direction for approximately 57.5m to OS Grid Ref SP 2807, 2419 (Point B), then in a southerly direction for approximately 94m to OS Grid Ref SP 2806, 2410 (Point C) then in a generally south-easterly direction for approximately 120m to OS Grid Ref SP 2812, 2423 (Point D) re-joining the footpath at Hacker’s Lane as shown on the Order Plan by a bold dashed line between points A-B-C-D.

A copy of the Order and Order Plan may be seen free of charge at the Elmfield Offices of West Oxfordshire District Council, Woodgreen, Witney, Oxfordshire, from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Copies of the Order and Order Plan may be purchased there, at the price of £1 for the first A4 sheet and 20p per sheet thereafter. Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to the Head of Planning and Strategic Housing, Elmfield, Witney, Oxfordshire, 0X28 1PB not later than 24th August 2017. Please state the grounds on which any representations are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if so made are withdrawn, West Oxfordshire District Council may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
