NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the C1273 Ross Road, Brampton Abbotts, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: C1273 Ross Road between the junction with the U70421 Netherton Lane and the C1273 Brampton Road OS Grid Ref: 360290 / 225704. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the U70421 Netherton lane and vice versa. The said closure is required due to essential drainage improvements and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 31st July 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 5 days.
