NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF AN ORDER CYCLE TRACKS ACT 1984 SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL FOOTPATHS 2 BLUNSDON ST ANDREW AND 3, 14, 35 & 37 HAYDON WICK CYCLE TRACKS ORDER 2016

On 4 January 2017 Swindon Borough Council confirmed the above order made under Section 3 of the Cycle Tracks Act 1984. The effect of the order as confirmed is to designate as cycle tracks, that length of Footpath 2 in the parish of Blunsdon St Andrew situate at Salzgitter Drive and commencing at OS grid reference SU14672 89394; that length of Footpath 3 in the parish of Haydon Wick between Moredon Park and Bryony Way and commencing at OS grid reference SU12914 87479; that length of Footpath 14 in the parish of Haydon Wick situate at Furlong Close and commencing at OS grid reference SU13493 88381; that length of Footpath 35 in the parish of Haydon Wick situate at Green Meadow Avenue and commencing at OS grid reference SU13758 87720; and that length of Footpath 37 in the parish of Haydon Wick between Green Valley Avenue and Hamble Road and commencing at OS grid reference SU13846 87819.

A copy of the order and the order maps has been placed and may be seen free of charge at The One Stop Shop, Beckhampton Street, Swindon, from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Copies of the order and map may be bought there at the price of £15.00. Any representations about, or objections to, the order may be sent in writing to the Rights of Way Officer, Swindon Borough Council, Wat Tyler House West, Beckhampton Street, Swindon, SN1 2JH, not later than 6 December 2016. Please state the grounds on which they are made. The order comes into force on 22 August 2017, but if a person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Cycle Tracks Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or of any Regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, he or she may, under subsection 6 of Section 3 of the Act, within 28 days from the date of this order make an application to the High Court.
