(BACK WESTERN HILL, DURHAM) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2017
The Council proposes in not less than 7 days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, to close to all traffic an 80m length of Back Western Hill that extends westerly from its junction with North Road, Durham by reason of boundary wall construction works to be undertaken. The maximum duration of the temporary closure under the Order is 18 months and is required from 21/08/17 for the duration of the works anticipated to be 4 weeks. However, on rare occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly. Alternative route: via Albert Street to the junction with Back Western Hill.
