Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the C1131 From Ocle Pychard to Withington Court, Westhide Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles outside Ash Grove OS Grid Ref: 357774 / 243749. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Lock Lane onto the A465 onto the C1131 and vice versa. The said closure is required due to the installation of a new gas connection and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 21st August 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 5 days.
