ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

VARIOUS ROADS AND RESTRICTIONS IN ASSOCIATION WITH CREAMFIELDS (VARIOUS RESTRICTIONS AND FOOTPATH CLOSURE) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017

The effect of which will be to introduce the following: -Temporary 20mph Speed Limit Restriction
A56 Chester Road - from the Borough Boundary with Halton to its junctions with Old Chester Road/Runcorn Road. Temporary Prohibition of Driving
Daresbury Lane - from its junction with Warrington Road to the Borough Boundary with Halton (except for access to Creamfields car parking facilities). Hobb Lane - from its junction with the A56 Chester Road to the Borough Boundary with Halton.
Holly Hedge Lane - from its junction with the A56 Chester Road to its junction with Runcorn Road.
Old Chester Road - from its northerly junction with the A56 Chester Road to its junction with Walton Lea Road.
Park Lane - from its junction with the A56 Chester Road to its junction with Warrington Road.
Underbridge Lane - its entire length
Warrington Road - from its junction with Park Lane to its junction with Daresbury Lane. Temporary Prohibition of U-Turns
Chester Road - to prohibit all vehicles proceeding in either direction on Chester Road between the Borough Boundary with Halton to its junctions with Old Chester Road/Runcom Road from making a U-tum as to proceed in the opposite direction as the case may be. Temporary Clearway
Daresbury Lane - from its junction with Warrington Road to the Borough Boundary with Halton.
Hatton Lane - its entire length.
Hobb Lane - from its junction with the A56 Chester Road to the Borough Boundary with Halton.
Holly Hedge Lane - its entire length.
Park Lane - from its junction with the A56 Chester Road to its junction with Warrington Road.
Pillmoss Lane - its entire length.
Runcorn Road - from its junction with the A56 Chester Road to its junction with Hobb Lane.
Underbridge Lane - its entire length. Warrington Road - its entire length. Temporary Footpath Closure
Hatton Footpath no.12 - from its junction with Hatton Lane to its junction with Gosling Close.
The Order will be effective from Thursday 24th August 2017 for a period of 5 days. The restrictions will be in place as and when signed on site. Access will be under the control of the Event Organiser for the duration of the works. Temporary diversion signs will be erected on site detailing the associated alternative routes for the duration of the works. The temporary restrictions are required to facilitate the Creamfields Music Festival. Ref: HIGH/1782

Daresbury Lane - from the Borough Boundary (Halton) to its junctions with Warrington Road
Warrington Road - from its junction with Daresbury Lane to its junction with Park Road Temporary Footpath Closure
Hatton Footpath no.1 - from its junction with Warrington Road to its junction with the Halton Borough Boundary
Walton Footpath no.3 - from its junction with Chester Road to its junction with the Halton Borough Boundary
Walton Footpath no.3A - from its junction with Walton Footpath no.3 to its junction with the Halton Borough Boundary
The Order will be effective from Thursday 10th August 2017 for a period of 4 weeks as and when the signed on site.
The alternative route for the temporary footway closure will be signed and available on site. The restrictions are required to facilitate the construction works associated with the Creamfields Event 2017. Ref: HIGH/1778

ACADEMY STREET & MERSEY STREET (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & FOOTWAY CLOSURE) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017
The effect of which is as follows: Prohibition of Driving:
Academy Street (south east bound traffic only) from its junction with Academy Way to its junction with Mersey Street
Mersey Street from its junction with Church Street roundabout to its junction with Warrington New Bridge
Footway Closure: Mersey Street from its junction with Hall Street for a distance of approximately 205 metres in a southerly direction
The Order was effective from Monday 3rd July 2017 for 8 weeks and was extended for 4 weeks. Due to additional works being undertaken the closures will be extended for a further 2 week period and it is anticipated that all the works will be completed by Friday 29th September 2017. The closures are for 24 hour period for the restrictions relating to Academy Street and between the hours of 7.00pm - 7.00am in respect of the restrictions relating to Mersey Street when signed on site.
The alternative routes are:
Academy Street via Mersey Street, Church Street roundabout, Dial Street, Buttermarket Street, Academy Street.
Mersey Street westbound traffic via Church Street roundabout, Fennel Street, Brick Street, Midland Way, Froghall Lane, Priestley Street, Liverpool Road, Parker Street, Wilson Patten Street, Bridge Foot, Mersey Street.
Mersey Street eastbound traffic via Mersey Street, Warrington new Bridge, Knutsford Road, Thelwall Lane, Kingsway South, Kingsway North, Manchester Road, Brick Street, Fennel Street.
The closure is required to undertake various construction works associated with the Time Square development. Ref HIGH/1765

The closures are required to undertake resurfacing works associated with the Time Square development. Ref HIGH/1777

BELL LANE. THELWALL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING AND CLEARWAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017
The effect of which is to introduce a temporary prohibition of driving and clearway on Bell Lane for its entire length.
The Order will be effective from Monday 7th August 2017 for 6 weeks between the hours of 8.30am - 5.30pm as and when signed on site. The alternative route will be Bell Lane via B5157 Bell Lane, Thelwall New Road, All Saints Drive, A56 Stockport Road and vice versa, or B5157 Lymm Road, A56 Stockport Road and vice versa.
The restrictions and closures are required to undertake carriageway patching and surface dressing. Ref: HIGH/1772

Academy Way, within the layby on the north western side, from a point 68 metres north east of its junction with Bridge Street for a distance of 38 metres in a north easterly direction.
