NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assistant Director Infrastructure of the Wigan Borough Council in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and delegated to him by the said Council proposes to make the Wigan Borough (Westleigh Lane) (Temporary Closure) Order 2017.

The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from driving a vehicle or causing or permitting a vehicle to be driven in Westleigh Lane, Leigh outside property number 249 during the period of Sunday 8 October 2017 for one day.
The alternative route for traffic is:- Corner Lane - Atherton Road - Leigh Road -Nel Pan Lane
The Order is necessary to allow repair works on manhole frame and cover.

(8 Manchester Road Leigh) Compulsory Purchase Order 2017 Compulsory Purchase of Land
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Wigan Borough Council have made the Wigan Borough Council (8 Manchester Road Leigh) Compulsory Purchase Order 2017 under the Housing Act 1985. They are about to submit this Order to the (Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government) for confirmation, and if confirmed, the Order will authorise Wigan Borough Council to purchase compulsorily the land described below for the purpose of provision of housing accommodation.

A copy of the Order and of the accompanying map may be seen at all reasonable hours at the office of the Assistant Director Legal, Town Hall, Library Street, Wigan, and at and Leigh Library Turnpike Centre Civic Square, Market Street Leigh WN71EB and may be seen there at all reasonable hours.

Any objection to the Order must be made in writing to the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government National Planning Casework Unit Department for Communities and Local Government 5 St Philips Place Colmore Row Birmingham B3 2PW, before the 31 st August 2017 and should state the title of the Order and the grounds of objection and the objector's address and interests in the land.

A plot of land situate at Manchester Road Leigh together with the dwelling house and any outbuildings erected thereon and known as 8 Manchester Road Leigh WN7 2AZ comprising 92 square metres.
