Temporary Closure of Icen Way, Dorchester
DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along ICEN WAY, DORCHESTER from its junction with South Walks Road to the junction with Icen Way, a distance of approximately 30 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on 14th August 2017 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 25th August 2017
This order will enable Southern Gas Networks, safe access to carry out gas mains replacement in the highway
An alternative vehicular route will be signed using; Icen Way - High East Street -High West Street - Albert Road - Cornwall Road - Great Western Road - South Walks Road

Temporary Closure of Public Footpath Nos. 25 Bridport And 18 Burton Bradstock
DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic [Temporary Restrictions] Act 1991. All pedestrians will be prohibited from proceeding along Public Footpath W1/25 and W7/18, from a grid reference SY 464 902 to grid reference SY 474 989 a distance of approximately 100 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on the 24th July 2017 for a period of 26 weeks, until 23rd January 2018. However it is likely these works will be completed sooner. But it may be extended, with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport, if necessary.
This closure is needed due to the resurfacing of the route and the use of heavy plant
machinery.
A locally signed diversion route will be signposted on site.

Dorset County Council trading as Dorset County Council of Wanchard Lane, Charminster, Dorchester, Dorset DT2 9RP is applying to change an existing licence as follows
To add an operating centre to keep I goods vehicles at:
Unit F3, Marabout Industrial Estate, Dorchester, Dorset DTI IYA.
Owners or occupiers of land (including buildings) near the operating centre(s) who
believe that their use or enjoyment of that land would be affected, should make written
representatives to the Traffic Commissioner at Hilcrest House, 386 Harehills Lane,
Leeds, LS9 6NF, stating their reasons, within 21 days of this notice. Representations
must at the same time send copy of their representations to the applicant at the
