SECTION 122 LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 APPROPRIATION OF LAND CONSISTING OF
AN OPEN SPACE HOOD AVENUE OPEN SPACE, LONDON, N14
The London Borough of Enfield ("the Council") intends to appropriate Hood Avenue Open Space for planning purposes in order to facilitate the wider regeneration of area in accordance with its 'New Avenue' housing scheme. Requirements for the appropriation of land by local authorities are contained in Section 122 of the Local Government Act 1972. Sub section 2(2A) of that Act requires notice of any proposal to appropriate land consisting of an open space to be published in a local newspaper for 2 consecutive weeks so that any person wishing to raise an objection to the sale may do so.

A plan identifying the open space is available for public inspection at the Council's offices at Civic Centre, Silver Street, Enfield EN1 3XA at any time between 9.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. Monday to Friday until 16 August 2017. Enquiries should be directed to the Assistant Director (Legal and Governance Services) of the Council (for the attention of Mr J Hood).

Any objection must be submitted in writing and should be addressed to the Assistant Director (Legal and Governance Services) (FAO Mr J Hood), London Borough of Enfield, P O Box 50, Civic Centre, Silver Street, Enfield EN1 3XA and must be received no later than 16 August 2017.
