Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the U73417 Cobhall Common Track, Allensmore Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles outside Moorfield Farm OS Grid Ref: 345907 / 235340. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the U73410 Cobhall Common road onto the C1222 from A465 to Hungerstone, onto the A465 and vice versa. The said closure is required due to the renewal of an existing stop tap and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 8th August 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
