The Borough Council of Bolton intends to make an Order not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, the effect of which, being operative from 21st August 2017, will be to prohibit all vehicular traffic from entering, stopping, standing, waiting, loading, unloading or otherwise remaining at rest in Regan Street, from Wapping Street to Back Leachfield Street. Alternative route will be via Newry Street, Handel Street, Halliwell Road and Wapping Street. The Order is necessary due to sewer connection works which will last for approximately 5 days and will cease to have effect 18 months from its operative date or on completion of the works whichever first occurs.
