Department for Transport TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highways (North West) (No. 49) Order 2017" authorising the stopping up of the whole of Blindsill Road, two unnamed footpaths connecting to Ramsay Avenue and two unnamed highways connecting Gorton Street and George Street at Farnworth, in the Metropolitan Borough of Bolton to enable development as permitted by Bolton Council, under reference 97199/16.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gsi.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/NW/S247/2712) and may be inspected during normal opening hours at New Bury Post Office, 61 George Street, Farnworth, Bolton, BL4 9PU.

Any person aggrieved by or desiring to question the validity of or any provision within the Order, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement or regulation made has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks of 28 July 2017 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision included.
