HERTSMERE BOROUGH COUNCIL THE HERTSMERE BOROUGH COUNCIL (ALDENHAM AVENUE, CHRISTCHURCH CRESCENT, LOOM PLACE, AND THE CROSSPATH, RADLETT) (RESTRICTION OF WAITING) ORDER 2017

NOTICE is given that the Hertsmere Borough Council, (pursuant to arrangements made with Hertfordshire County Council) proposes to make the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce waiting restrictions in parts of Aldenham Avenue Christchurch Crescent, Loom Place and The Crosspath. The general effect of the Order will be to

1. Introduce No waiting at Anytime restrictions outside dropped kerbs of properties located on the west side of Christchurch Crescent and Christehurch Crescent junction with Loom Place and limited waiting restrictions which operates between 8.30am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday on the east side of Christchurch Crescent.

2. Change existing single yellow line outside 5 Aldenham Avenue to Double yellow line to prevent obstructive parking.

3. Reduce the length of parking bay outside property number 11 Christchurch Crescent.

4. Remove parking bay outside property number 23 The Crosspath and introduce a single yellow line which operates Monday to Saturday 8am to 6.30pm to prevent obstructive parking

The proposals are aimed at preventing obstructiveparking and improving road safety within the vicinity.

Objections to the proposals should be made in writing to: Parking Services Department, Hertsmere Borough Council, Civic Offices, Elstree Way, Borehamwood, WD6 1WA by 17th August 2017, stating the grounds on which they are made. Letters of support will also be received during this time.
