ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)

Notice ofTemporary Footpath Closure Oxford, Footpath 320/5 Date of Order: 7 August 2017 Coming into force: 16 August 2017

This Order is being introduced because of repairs to the Thames riverbank which are anticipated to take 6 weeks to complete. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily footpath 320/5 which runs westwards towards Donnington Bridge, southeast of Folley bridge. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of footpath. Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.

The alternative route for pedestrians is via the A4144 Abingdon Road, the Eastwick footpath and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
