Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the U71224 Road from C1248 to Little Trewen Lane, LLangrove Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles between the junction with the U71227 Trewarne Lane and the junction with the U71226 Grove Farm Road OS Grid Ref: 353492 / 218648. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1250 from B4164 to Ruxton Green onto the U71225 Ruxton Llangrove road and vice versa. The said closure is required due to essential drainage improvements and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 7th August 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 5 days.
