Notice of  Making NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the C1091 Venmore Lane, Dilwyn, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: C1091 Venmore Lane outside The Lea to the junction of the U93215 Fields Place Lane OS Grid Ref: 341667 / 254496. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the B4457 onto the A4112 onto the C1091 and vice versa. The said closure is required due to the private connection to an existing mains sewer and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place.
The said closure will come into force on 1st August 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
