BOURNEMOUTH BOROUGH COUNCIL Palmerston Road Footbridge Closure – Bridge Maintenance Works

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Bournemouth, in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004, has made temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic and pedestrian movement.
WHAT: Footbridge closed to all pedal cycles and pedestrians
WHERE: Footbridge over the railway line – between Palmerston Road/St Clement’s Road and South Road
WHY: Bridge maintenance works by Bournemouth Borough Council
WHEN: Anticipated dates 31st July 2017 until 27th August 2017
ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety.
DIVERSION: The diversion will be via Ashley Road or Cleveland Road.
