Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (B4482 Bilford Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2017
Order made: to close that part of B4482 Bilford Road, Worcester from its junction with Kingston Avenue to its junction with Wordsworth Avenue in order to facilitate carriageway surfacing works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route - Southbound Diversion only: B4482 Bilford Road, B4550 Astwood Road, B4550 Rainbow Hill, B4205 Lowesmoor Terrace, B4205 Pheasant Street, B4205 George Street, B4205 St Martins Gate, A38 City Wall Road, A38 St Nicholas Street, A38 The Foregate, A38 Foregate Street, A38 The Tything, A38 Upper Tything, A38 Barbourne Road andA38 Droitwich Road. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (within a 2 week period). Commencing: 27 July 2017.

(B4485 Bransford Road, Worcester)[Temporary Closure) Order 2017
Order made: to close that part of B4485 Bransford Road, Worcester from its junction with B4206 St Johns to its junction with Watery Lane in order to facilitate carriageway works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: Watery Lane, A44 Bromyard Road, B4206 St Johns and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days Commencing: 2 August 2017.

(U54151 Happy Lane West, Worcester)[Temporary Closure) Order 2017
Proposed Order to close that part of US41S1 Happy Lane West, Worcester from its junction with A44 Bromyard Road to its junction with U54150 Happy Lane North in order to facilitate new water connection works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: U54150 Happy Lane North, U54149 Knight Street, A44 Bromyard Road and vice versa Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: J days Commencing: 22 August 2017.

(A4440 Swinesherd Way, Whittington, Worcester) [Temporary 40 MPH Speed Limit) Order 2017 Order made:
to impose a temporary 40 mph speed limit on that part of A4440 Swinesherd Way, Whittington, Worcester, from its junction with the roundabout at U52048 Wildwood Drive to the roundabout at A44 Whittington in order to facilitate telecoms ducting works. Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days. Commencing: 31 July 2017.

(U50365 Green Lane, Bevere, Worcester)[Temporary Closure) Order 2017

Proposed Order to close that part of U50365 Green Lane, Bevere, Worcester from its junction with U50365 Bevere Close for a distance of 5 metres in a north westerly direction and 5 metres in a south easterly direction in order to facilitate sewer works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: U50365 Green Lane, U50371 Bevere ?rive, U50372 Grange Avenue U50367 Bevere Close South, U50319 Northwick Road and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 10 days Commencing: 21 August 2017.

(Footpath NC-511, North Claines)(Temporary Closure Order) 2017

Proposed Order to close the entire length of Footpath NC-511, North Claines in order to facilitate construction of earth bund and landscaping. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken. Alternative route: is via U50319 Bevere Lane and U41080 Bevere Lane and vice versa. The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months commencing on 28 August 2017.

(Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2017 [Disabled Persons' Parking Places on St Clements Close, Worcester]
On 13 July 2017 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to create 3 disabled persons' parking places on the following length and side of road in Worcester St Clements Close (north side) from a point 19.6 metres west of its junction with St Clements Gardens for a distance of 19.8 metres in a westerly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civi I enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes.
The Order will come into operation on 3 August 2017.

A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected at Worcester City Council, Customer Service Centre, The Hive, Sawmill Walk, The Butts, Worcester, WR1 3PB and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours. The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.

(Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2017 [Prohibition of Waiting, Restriction of Waiting, Disabled Persons' Parking Places and Buses Only Parking on Northwick Close, Northwick Road and Seymour Avenue, Worcester]
On 13 July 2017 Worcestershire County Council made an Order with MODIFICATIONS the effect of which wi II be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester Northwick Close (south side) from a point 8.8 metres west of its junction with Northwick Road for a distance of 22.5 metres in a westerly direction; (north side) from a point 8.8 metres west of its junction with Northwick Road for a distance of 22.5 metres in a westerly direction. Northwick Road (east side) from a point 28 metres north of its junction with Seymour Avenue to a point 10 metres south of that junction; from a point 51.5 metres south of its junction with Seymour Avenue for a distance of 5 metres in a southerly direction; (west side) from a point 10 metres north of its junction with Northwick Close for a distance of 71.5 metres in a northerly direction. Seymour Avenue (both sides) from its junction with Northwick Road for a distance of 10 metres in an easterly direction. Restrict waiting Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm:-Northwick Road (west side) from a point 78.7 metres south of its junction with Northwick Road for a distance of 38.7 metres in a southerly direction. Create disabled persons' parking places:-Northwick Road (west side) from a point 9.8 metres south of its junction with Northwick Road for a distance of 18 metres in a southerly direction. Buses only parking maximum stay 1 hour Monday -Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm:- Northwick Road (west side) from a point 27.8 metres south of its junction with Northwick Road for a distance of 12.2 metres in a southerly direction. *NB Under this amendment prohibition of waiting has been added on Northwick Close North side from a point 8.8 metres west of its junction with Northwick Road for a distance of 22.5 metres in a westerly direction and Northwick Road east side from a point 51.5 metres south of its junction with Seymour Avenue for a distance of 5 metres in a southerly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. The Order will come into operation on 3 August 2017. [Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2017 [Prohibition of Waiting on Amber Wharf, Worcester]
On 20 July 2017 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of road in Worcester Amber Wharf (north east side) from its junction with City Walls Road for a distance of 24 metres in a south easterly direction, then 5.8 metres in a south westerly direction; (south east side) from its junction with City Walls Road for a distance of 6.5 metres in a south easterly direction. *NB Under this amendment the restriction at the end of the cul de sac from a point 5.8 metres in a south westerly direction to a point 6.5 metres south east of its junction with City Walls Road will be removed. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. The Order will come into operation on 3 August 2017.
