PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND LOADING AND PROVISION OF PARKING (DISTRICT OF RYEDALE) (AMENDMENT NO 4) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is hereby given that North Yorkshire County Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) and 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act and under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be to amend “North Yorkshire County Council (Prohibition of Waiting and Loading and Provision of Parking) (District of Ryedale) Consolidation Order 2013” by introducing the restrictions specified in the table below:-

A copy of the draft Order, together with a map showing the road affected and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton and at Sutton Bank National Park Centre, Sutton Bank, Thirsk, North Yorkshire YO7 2EH during normal office hours from 21 July 2017 until 14 August 2017 and also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/notices.

(30 MPH SPEED LIMIT) (ALDBROUGH ST JOHN) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is hereby given that North Yorkshire County Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 84(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed in excess of 30 miles per hour on any length of road specified below – the proposed Order will extend the existing 30 mph speed limit in Aldbrough St John village.

Main Village Street - From a point 72 metres south west of its junction with the south side of Brick Kiln Lane (measured along the western kerb line), to a point 26 metres south of its junction with the south side of Kilton Court (measured along the eastern kerb line).
Road to Stanwick St John - From its junction with the main village street, to a point 65 metres west of its junction with the west side of Appleby Lane (measured along the southern kerb line).
Appleby Lane - From its junction with the road to Stanwick St John, for a distance of 95 metres in a south westerly direction (measured along the eastern kerb line).
Doctors Lane - From its junction with the main village street, to a point 31 metres south east of its junction with the east side of the vehicular access to the Doctors’ Surgery (measured along the northern kerb line).
Road around Village Green - For its entire length. St Johns Park - For its entire length. Kilton Court - For its entire length. Loop Road to the east of Main Village Street - For its entire length. Spenceley Place - For its entire length.
