WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL PUBLIC NOTICE

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (Brockhill Lane, Beoley)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017 Order made: to close that part of Brockhill Lane, Beoley from its junction with C2175 Seafield Lane to its junction with C2292 Alcester Road in order to facilitate Severn Trent works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2292 Alcester Road, Whitepits Lane, C2175 Seafield Lane and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day: Commencing: 1 August 2017.

(Haslucks Green Road, Majors Green)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017 Order made: to close that part of Haslucks Green Road, Majors Green from its junction with Tilehouse Lane to its junction with Drawbridge Road in order to facilitate carriageway works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: Haslucks Green Road, Peterbrook Road, High Street, Aqueduct Road, Green Lane, Haslucks Green and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days: Commencing: 26 July 2017.

(U23228 Withybed Lane, Alvechurch)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017 Proposed Order: to close that part of U23228 Withybed Lane, Alvechurch from its junction with U23230 Withybed Close to its junction with U23229 Birches Lane in order to facilitate Network Rail works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. No alternative route available. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days: Commencing: 21 August 2017.

(Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2009 (Variation) Order 2017 [Disabled Persons’ Parking Place on South Street, Redditch] On 13 July 2017 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to create a disabled persons’ parking place on the following length and side of road in Redditch: South Street (north west side) from a point 14 metres north east of its junction with Beaufort Street for a distance of 6.6 metres in a north easterly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes. The Order will come into operation on 27 July 2017.

A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected at Redditch Borough Council, Planning Department, Town Hall, Walter Stranz Square, Redditch, Worcs, B98 8AH, and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours. The validity of the Council’s powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
