FORM 45 COMMONS ACT 2006 — SECTION 15(1)
Notice of an application for the registration of land as a Town or Village Green To every reputed owner, lessee, tenant or occupier of any part of the land described below, and to all others whom it may concern. Application has been made to the Wiltshire Council of County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge, Wiltshire, BA14 8JN by Church Field Friends of Hilperton, under section 15(1) of the Commons Act 2006 and in accordance with the Commons (Registration of Town or Village Greens) (Interim Arrangements) (England) Regulations 2007. The application seeks the inclusion in the register of town and village greens of the land described in the Schedule below which is claimed to have qualified for registration as a town or village green on the 24th April 2017 by virtue of a significant number of local inhabitants having indulged in lawful sports and pastimes on the land for a period of more than 20 years with use continuing at the time of application. The application, which includes a plan of the land proposed for registration may be inspected at the following offices: Wiltshire Council, Rights of Way and Countryside Team, Waste and Environment, Unit 9, Ascot Court, White Horse Business Park, Trowbridge, Wiltshire, BA14 0XA between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm on Monday to Friday. If the registration authority is satisfied that the land described below qualifies for registration as a town or village green, it will so register the land. Any person wishing to object to the registration of the land as a town or village green should send a statement of the facts on which the objection is based to Sally Madgwick, Rights of Way Officer, Waste and Environment, Wiltshire Council, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge, Wiltshire, BA14 8JN by 1700 on Monday 4th September 2017. Any representations that are to be taken into account by the Authority in reaching a decision on the application cannot be treated as confidential and will be copied to the applicant for comment and may be disclosed to other interested parties. Schedule Description of the land claimed to have qualified for registration as a town or village green. Land to the south and south west of the church of St Michael and All Angels and cemetery known as Church Field, Hilperton. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic:
(a) C183 Middlehill (Part), Box; for a distance of approximately 90m between Coles Farm and Holbutts Farm to enable Wessex Water to carry out works for a new connection. Alternative route via C183 Middlehill (unaffected length) – C4 Rode Hill – C152 – C183 Middlehill (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 14 August 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 16 August 2017. (b) Ruskin Avenue,from its junction with A3102 Lowbourne to its junction with Pembroke Road;
(c) Pembroke Road (Part), Melksham; from its junction with Ruskin Avenue in an easterly direction for a distance of approximately 45m to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway reconstruction, resurfacing, road markings, adjustment of ironwork and associated works. Alternative route via A3102 – C398 Queensway – Pembroke Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 24 July 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 1 September 2017.

(d) C157 Ladbrook Lane (Part), Corsham; from its junction with B3353 Linleys for a distance of approximately 50m in a northerly direction to enable Wessex Water to install a washout. Alternative route via C157 Ladbrook Road (unaffected length) – C150 Lacock Road – B3353 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 24 July 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 26 July 2017. (e) C36 (Part) Upper Potley/Westwells, Corsham; from its junction with Leafield Way to its junction with C4 Westwells Road;
(f) C4 Westwells Road (Part), Corsham; from its junction with C36 Westwells/C4 Moor Green to its junction with Old Shaft Road to enable Barden Network (on behalf of BT Openreach) to clear blockages in existing BT duct. Alternative route via C4 Westwells Road (unaffected length) – C5 Park Lane – A4 – B3353 Pickwick Road – C36 Valley Road/Potley Lane and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 27 July 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required daily between the hours of 09.30 and 15.30 until 1 August 2017. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated durations to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses, although delays are possible due to the nature of some of the works. The Orders will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Footpath 85 (Part), Melksham Without; from its junction with Footpath 84, Melksham Without in an easterly direction for a distance of approximately 475m to enable flood protection work to be undertaken. An alternative route will be made available to the north of the footpath and will be clearly marked by fencing. The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to: Temporarily close to all traffic: A363 St. Margaret’s Street (Part), Bradford on Avon; from its junction with B3109 Frome Road to its junction with Junction Road; and to temporarily suspend the existing One-Way Order on the same length of road to facilitate local access and egress. To enable: Wales and West Utilities to install a new gas supply. Alternative route via B3109 Frome Road – Junction Road and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 27 July 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for one day. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
