THE BOROUGH OF BLACKBURN WITH DARWEN (REVIDGE ROAD AND SUNNY BANK ROAD, BLACKBURN) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2017 NOTICE is hereby given that the Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, made the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to allow works to replace manhole frames and covers to be carried out. The effect of the Order is to close Revidge Road and Sunny Bank Road, to all vehicular traffic at their junctions with Dukes Brow and Onchan Road, respectively. The diversion route for the Revidge Road closure will be via Revidge Road, Preston New Road, Yew Tree Drive, Lammack Road and Revidge Road, and vice versa. The diversion route for the Sunny Bank Road closure will be via Sunny Bank Road, Snaefell Road, Tynwald Road, Park Lee Road and Sunny Bank Road, and vice versa. The Order will come into force at 8:30am on Sunday, 30th July 2017, and shall continue in force for a period of eighteen months or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 3:30pm on the same day. Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained.
