ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT1984(AS AMENDED) -SECTION 14(1) THE BOROUGH OF ST. HELENS (PASTURE LANE, RAINFORD,STHELENS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of St. Helens propose not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as Amended), the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicles to proceed along Pasture Lane in either direction from approximately 140 metres South of the bridge for a further 50 metres Southward, towards the junction with the Rainford by-pass. The alternative route for drivers affected by this Order will be via Church Road, Mossborough Road and the A570 Rainford by-pass, and vice versa. Pedestrian access will not be affected. The Order will come into force on Monday 7th August 2017, and will have a maximum duration of eighteen months. The reason for making this Order is to facilitate the repairs to the retaining wall at the side of the road.
